Position Summary
The Career Services Administrative Support position provides essential administrative and operational assistance to the Career Services department. This role supports career services database management, employer communications, and coordination of campus-based career outreach activities to ensure effective service delivery to students and employers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update the Career Services database, including student, employer, and job posting records
  • Assist with scheduling, coordination, and on-site support for career-related events, workshops, and employer visits
  • Communicate with local and regional employers regarding job postings, internships, and recruitment opportunities
  • Support employer engagement efforts through routine follow-up communications
  • Assist the Director of Career Services with administrative tasks, reporting, and correspondence
  • Ensure accurate data entry and recordkeeping related to Career Services activities
  • Provide general office support consistent with departmental needs

Work Schedule and Environment
  • This is a part-time hourly position. Hours may vary based on departmental needs. Work is primarily office-based with regular interaction with students, employers, faculty, and staff. Occasional evening or weekend hours may be required to support career-related events.
  • Students can not work more than 20 hours per week across all student worker positions.
