Your future role at a glance

Location: Indianapolis, INFacility: Ascension St. VincentDepartment/Specialty: Multispecialty SurgicalSchedule: Day shift | Part-time Weekend option

How you'll make an impact in this role
  • You will gain professional growth, decision-making, mentoring, and collaboration in a fast-paced environment.
  • You will provide inpatient care after surgery for highly acute surgical oncology patients (including head and neck) and general surgery patients, which encompasses pain management, drain/tube care, wound care, ambulation, discharge teaching, and medical management for general surgery patients awaiting an operation.
What minimum qualifications you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire required.
