For virtual school-based services, you'll partner with parents/caregivers to help children work toward meaningful functional and educational goals.

Built by a Clinician, for Clinicians

We were founded by a clinician, so we understand that great patient care starts with taking care of the people providing it.

We're growing, but we're intentional about keeping the supportive, flexible, team-centered culture that makes Therapeutic Focus special.

Your voice matters. Your ideas are welcomed. Your hard work is noticed.

Why You'll Love Working With Us

  • Parent partnership in school-based therapy – Collaborate with parents/caregivers to support students during virtual sessions
  • Variety in your caseload – Enjoy a combination of school-based and outpatient pediatrics
  • A genuinely supportive team – Work with people who collaborate, communicate, and have each other's backs
  • Small-team feel, growing-company opportunity – Be part of our growth while still having a voice
  • Meaningful pediatric work – Help children improve mobility, strength, coordination, confidence, independence, and participation

What You'll Do

  • Provide virtual physical therapy evaluations and treatment for pediatric clients and students
  • Develop individualized, evidence-based plans of care
  • Address mobility, strength, balance, coordination, gross motor development, and functional participation
  • Direct and collaborate with an on-site therapy tech during virtual outpatient sessions
  • Partner with parents/caregivers during virtual school-based sessions
  • Develop and support educationally relevant goals for students
  • Participate in IEP and 504 planning and meetings when appropriate
  • Collaborate with families, educators, physicians, OTs, SLPs, and other professionals
  • Monitor progress and modify treatment plans based on each child's needs
  • Complete accurate and timely clinical and school-based documentation

You Might Be a Great Fit If You...

  • Love working with children
  • Value flexibility and work-life balance
  • Enjoy working virtually and creatively engaging children through teletherapy
  • Communicate well with parents, caregivers, support staff, and other professionals
  • Are comfortable directing and collaborating with others during remote treatment
  • Want to be part of a positive, supportive team
  • Enjoy both independence and collaboration
  • Are compassionate, dependable, organized, and creative
  • Want your clinical judgment and ideas to be valued

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
  • Current Tennessee and Arkansas Physical Therapist licenses, or willingness to obtain licensure in both states
  • Pediatric and/or school-based experience preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Comfortable with technology, teletherapy platforms, and electronic documentation

Schedule & Work Setting

Part-Time | Monday–Thursday | 100% Virtual

Scheduling flexibility based on therapist availability, caseload, school schedules, and outpatient needs.

  • Virtual school-based pediatric services, including PreK–12
