Job Title: Part-Time Event Security Officer
Location: Various Event Venues (Stanislaus and San Joaquin Counties)

Job Overview:
Ronin Protection Solutions Inc. is seeking dependable and professional Part-Time Event Security Officers to join our team. This position involves providing security services at concerts, festivals, private parties, corporate functions, and other special events. The ideal candidate will help create a safe and enjoyable environment for guests, performers, vendors, and staff through visible presence, proactive engagement, and rapid response to incidents.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a High-Visibility Presence: Monitor entrances, exits, stages, VIP areas, and general event grounds to ensure safety and deter unwanted activity.
  • Crowd Control & Guest Management: Assist with managing attendee flow, preventing overcrowding, and enforcing venue policies, including bag checks and credential verification.
  • Incident Response: Respond swiftly and professionally to altercations, disturbances, medical emergencies, or suspicious activity; notify supervisors and emergency services as necessary.
  • Access Control: Ensure that only authorized individuals access restricted or backstage areas using proper wristbands, credentials, or identification.
  • Customer Service: Provide directions, answer basic event questions, and assist guests in a courteous and helpful manner while de-escalating tense situations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with event coordinators, venue staff, law enforcement, and medical personnel to maintain smooth operations.
  • Report Writing: Document all significant incidents, accidents, or safety concerns clearly and promptly using company-provided forms or software.
  • Professionalism: Represent Ronin Protection Solutions Inc. with integrity and discipline, upholding our veteran-owned company’s standards for safety and service.
Qualifications:
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Previous experience in event, venue, or security services a plus
  • Prior military and/or law enforcement experience strongly preferred
  • Strong observational, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to remain calm and authoritative in high-stress or emergency situations
  • Must be able to walk, stand, and remain alert for extended periods (up to 8–12 hours)
  • Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
  • Valid California Guard Card (required); CPR/First Aid a plus
