Position Details

Role: Veterinary Receptionist
Status: Part-time
Schedule: Three-day work week with guaranteed lunch breaks and rotating Saturdays
Experience: Previous veterinary receptionist experience required

  • Greet clients and patients with warmth, compassion, and professionalism.
  • Answer incoming calls and respond promptly to voicemail messages.
  • Schedule appointments and efficiently manage a multi-doctor calendar.
  • Check patients in and out while ensuring client and patient information remains accurate.
  • Collect payments, process invoices, and review treatment estimates with clients.
  • Manage medical record requests, appointment reminders, and routine administrative tasks.
  • Handle client concerns with empathy and professionalism, escalating issues when appropriate.
  • Make outbound calls, texts, and emails to confirm appointments and follow up on patient care.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and document all client communications.
  • Support teammates with additional tasks to help each day run smoothly.

What You'll Bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as a Veterinary Receptionist is required.
  • Excellent client service and communication skills.
  • Comfort learning and using veterinary practice management software, especially Avimark.
  • Strong attention to detail when maintaining patient records and documenting client communications.
  • Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • The ability to remain calm, compassionate, and professional in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to jump in wherever needed.
