    Our fully integrated office is currently seeking a highly skilled, experienced, and patient-centric Part-Time Registered Vascular Technologist to join our multi-disciplinary team.  As the RVT you would perform vascular ultrasound examinations of a patient’s lower extremities (and other studies as needed)  and assist the physician or provider with all therapeutic procedures if needed while balancing the needs of patients and maintain efficient work-flow of the office. 
 
             The RVT will work as an active member of the healthcare team providing safe, effective and high quality patient care. Some of the          Responsibilities include but not limited to the following: 
  • Perform ultrasound examinations of patients to create a Venous Flow Map for purposes of recommending a safe, effective treatment plan
  • Assist the physician in explaining the treatment plan to the patient and assist in the Ambulatory Surgery Center for the following procedures including endovenous laser ablation, Radiofrequency Vein Ablation, Varithena, VenaSeal, Genicular Arterial Embolization (GAE),etc
  • Collaborate with other clinic staff in the set-up and clean-up of the treatment rooms before and after each session to maintain efficient patient flow.
  • Complete all appropriate reports following each patient interaction in a timely manner
  • Perform ordered duplex ultrasound examination and other imaging studies.
  • Submit diagnostic findings that accurately reflect each patient's disease process.
  • Maintain equipment and image storage.
  • Assist with management of supply inventory.
  • Maintain all licensure and state law requirements for the state of New Jersey
Qualifications:
  • Must be RVT, RVS or RPhS  
  • Licensed in the state of Florida;  Part Time position ; If you have your own Doppler US its a plus
