Registered Nurse - 4th Floor Telemetry
$3,000 Sign-On Bonus for External Candidates
Part-Time 7a - 7p
The Registered Nurse has the responsibility and accountability for direct comprehensive nursing care for the patient from admission to discharge.
  • Reviews and documents care provided, outcomes of care, and evaluations of care.
  • Follows the professional standards of care.
  • Applies evidence, professional standards, and best practice to bedside caregiving through critical thinking, experiential evidence, and evidence-based practices.
  • Demonstrates ability to prioritize care based on changing assessment and needs of patients.
  • Having ongoing communication with physicians and other departments in the hospital.

Requirements:
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ADN) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Current unrestricted licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Kentucky required.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required within 6 months of hire.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days of hire.
  • Must obtain Crisis Prevention within 6 months of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Recent experience in specialty preferred.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited institution.
