Job description

Highlights:

Summary: The LPN shall be responsible for direct, individualized, goal-directed, and effective patient care under the supervision of the RN. This individual shall provide care as outlined in the Nursing Care Plan in accordance with Standards of Practice, policies, and procedures. The LPN will be responsible for administration of medications, report patient symptoms and conditions to the RN. For the LPN within Employee Health, the individual will be responsible for new hire and annual health screenings under the direct supervision of the RN. This position may have additional duties assigned that are within scope of the role.
Education / Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required.
License / Certification: Active LPN license required, BLS required, Additional certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc) may be required based upon department assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to resolve customer complaints and concerns.
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
Ability to foster a cooperative work environment.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

Education/Experience:

High School diploma or equivalent required. Degree in Nursing or completion of LPN program required.

Licensure/Certification:

Active LPN license required, BLS required, Additional certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc) may be required based upon department assigned
