Job description

The UPS Store Center Retail and Customer Service Center Associate plays a key role in managing daily store operations while delivering exceptional customer service. This position requires critical thinking to offer tailored solutions, alongside the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment. The associate will support opening and closing procedures, and contribute to a smooth-running center through effective teamwork and leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service by understanding and addressing client needs.
  • Cross-sell and upsell products to enhance customer satisfaction and store revenue.
  • Manage day-to-day retail operations, including opening and closing the center as required.
  • Maintain composure and quality service in a hectic work environment.
  • Assist in leading and motivating team members to optimize performance.
  • Utilize computer, internet, and software knowledge to support operational tasks.
  • Ensure the store environment is organized and operates smoothly.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED; college coursework or degree preferred.
  • At least one year of retail store operations experience.
  • Strong supervisory, managerial, and leadership skills.
  • Excellent computer, internet, and software proficiency.
  • Physical ability to perform job tasks including lifting and bending.
  • Dynamic personality with the ability to listen, follow, lead, and motivate a team.
