Position Summary:
The College of Engineering seeks qualified individuals for its adjunct faculty pool to teach classes in support of the Engineering Entrepreneurship program.
The courses in the minor focus on a variety of topics including opportunity identification, technical and market feasibility, prototyping, and business and venture planning. Qualified individuals would provide instruction in both a lecture and hands-on workshop format.
Villanova is a Catholic university sponsored by the Augustinian Order. The University is an equal opportunity employer and seeks candidates who understand, respect and can contribute to the University's mission and values.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Teaching undergraduate level courses. Duties will vary with the specific courses being taught.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree required. The applicant must be committed to instilling the entrepreneurial mindset in engineering education.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous teaching experience preferred.
An earned doctorate or equivalent in Engineering, Business, Law or a closely allied discipline is strongly preferred.
