Facility Maintenance

Facility Maintenance preserves our outstanding company image!

Facility Maintenance personnel complete minor maintenance and routinely cleans and maintains the location interior and exterior to preserve our outstanding company image. This role requires dependable, responsible team members to ensure that compliance and safety standards are met. Facility Maintenance is a vital part of providing a superior experience to our team members, guests, and community and to the success of the company. U Make Us Great!
What your primary role will involve!
  • Conduct quality control and security checks daily,
  • Replace light bulbs, fluorescent tubes, ceiling tiles and air conditioning filters as needed,
  • Maintain landscaping by weeding and watering plants and shrubs when needed,
  • Remove all trash, paper, and other debris from parking area and grounds,
  • Conduct a wide variety of custodial duties and carries out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects when required,
  • Occasionally service minor plumbing, clogged drains, and toilets, when necessary,
  • Change signage and fuel prices to remain compliant with franchise as required,
  • Wash interior and exterior windows, doors, and mirrors weekly, or when necessary,
  • Maintain the service fuel pump islands with necessary supplies,
  • Maintain daily, a safe and clean store, restroom, parking lot, gasoline pumps and islands by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

  • Permanent Full-time or part-time positions are available; Seasonal or Per Diem (as needed) positions are available at designated sites,
  • Position is for a specific area/region not a specific store location,
  • Local travel may be required for this position,
  • Shifts are normally during the day, Monday through Friday,

  • While not required, overtime is available when authorized,
  • Salary range is competitive with the market rates based on the area,
  • Must be 16 years of age or older to qualify for this position because of the use of power tools and equipment, Team members under 18 years of age are required to have a Minor Work Permit and must comply with all minor labor laws.

  • Highschool diploma and prior experience is preferred but not required,
  • Underground Storage Tank Certification may be obtained during training.
Safe and healthy working conditions are our priority!

Most of the work is completed outdoors while keeping our parking lots and store exterior attractive. Work is also often completed inside store locations or in coolers.

Team members are required to use Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) provided by the company when handling fuel or chemicals for maximum safety precautions.

Essential Physical Requirements Include:
  • Maneuver and move about location premises up to eight (8) hours,
  • Frequently position self to reach items overhead, at waist, and floor level,
  • Frequently moves up to fifty (50) pounds,
  • Frequently ascends and descends a step, stool, or ladder,
  • Food-n-Fun remains compliant with Americans with Disabilities (ADA) Act for reasonable accommodations.
