Job description

First Hawaiian Bank is currently seeking a Money Processing Center (MPC) Part-Time Teller at our Koloa Branch. 

Compensation:

The pay range is $16.00 - $22.00/hour, commensurate with experience. 

Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM (hours may vary)

The ideal candidate will have:

  • High school degree required.
  • Prior teller or cash handling experience desirable.
  • Ability to count.
  • Must be able to perform mathematical calculations.
  • Use of 10-key adding machine and typing.
  • Attention to detail and ability to use judgment and discretion regarding customer transactions and confidential information.
  • Works with the department and operations managers, and supervisors to ensure adherence to all compliance, GLBA, audit, and security requirements, minimizing exposure to loss/liability.
  • Performs teller functions in the daily support of the overall operations of the department
  • Accepts and processes deposits accurately
  • Redeems and calculates foreign currency/drafts for deposits
  • Turns in excess cash to vault throughout the day
  • Fulfills customer change orders accurately and timely
  • Cross trains in other processing areas
