As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support site operations through routine patrols and professional reporting while reflecting Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-oriented, and integrity-driven culture.

What You'll Do:
  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical manufacturing location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, hazardous-material concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and notification procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access control points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain accurate logs, and report unusual activity, damaged property, or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
  • Support emergency preparedness by following evacuation, shelter-in-place, and incident response procedures, coordinating with site personnel and public emergency responders as directed.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Possess a TSA-issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
