Part time tutors typically earn between $15 and $30 per hour, depending on factors such as subject expertise, experience, location, and whether they work independently or through a tutoring company. • Reliable vehicle for local travel to client homes
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) a strong plus - premium rates available for bilingual matches
Pay

$25-$35+ per hour, based on your credentials, specialization, and the needs of the student you're matched with. Most roles fall in the $25-$35+ range; higher rates apply for credentialed or specialized tutors, higher-need cases, and bilingual (Spanish/English) matches.

Why Join
  • Real impact: build lasting 1:1 bonds and help shape a student's trajectory
  • Support: specialized curriculum resources and a dedicated team for student matching
  • Perks: performance-based incentives, referral program, mileage, technology reimbursement, and the CalSavers retirement option
