A tutor can work with students of any age and may address several subjects or only focus on one. You may be asked to provide reports and communicate with parents on the student's progress.

What is the difference between Part Time Tutor vs Part Time Teaching Assistant?
| Aspect | Part Time Tutor | Part Time Teaching Assistant |
|---|---|---|
| Required Credentials | Usually requires subject-specific knowledge, certifications, or degrees | Often requires less formal qualifications, sometimes only a high school diploma |
| Work Environment | Individually or in small groups, often remote or private settings | Classroom or school environment, supporting teachers and students |
| Employer & Industry Usage | Private tutoring companies, online platforms, individual clients | Schools, educational institutions, tutoring centers |
