Location: Fran Cohen Youth Center Naples Corps – Naples, FL 34104

Position Type: Part-Time, 25 hrs/wk

Pay Range: $13.00 - $16.11

Key responsibilities:

  • Assists, instructs, and evaluates children in the academic areas in which they are weak so they may better understand and perform the skills in those areas.
  • conducts individual and group tutoring sessions with students; prepares various reports documenting the student’s progress and shares the same with parents and others as necessary.
  • Supervises children, implements activities, maintains classroom environment, ensures children’s safety, establishes a positive environment for children and families.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

 

Works is performed in a normal classroom or office environment where there are little or no physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like.

Work requires occasional travel to schools which may involve exposure to changes in weather and/or heavy traffic.
