Expected Starting Salary Range: $17.59 – 21/hr

Part-time - 20 hours per week

Hours: Monday - Friday 6am-10:30am, weekend and holiday rotations are required

Working as a Phlebotomist at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center you will:

Perform approved specimen collection procedures, point-of-care testing services and processing

Provide education/information and support to patients and families concerning tests and specimen acquisition

Assist in special projects, evaluations, experiments or research

Have the opportunity to gain advanced phlebotomy skills such as ultrasound guided venipuncture and scalp vein access

Qualifications:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE


Job Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent

2 years of Phlebotomy or other relevant Clinical Lab specimen collection experience OR completion of a Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant program

Preferred Qualifications:

Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant certification
