QMA Opportunity at Waters Edge Village

PT Evening Shift 

 As a Qualified Medication Aide, you will have the opportunity to develop meaningful relationships by learning about the life stories of our residents and staff. Each day, our QMAs utilize their skills to promote the physical and psychosocial well-being of the residents, leading to a rewarding sense of fulfillment and satisfaction. 

Skills Needed

  • Supportive Presence:  Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for our residents.
  • Leadership:  Promote teamwork within the care team to exceed the needs of our residents. 
  • Collaboration:  In partnership with nursing and other facility teams to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
  • Teamwork:  The ability to work towards a common goal of excellent care for our residents.
  • Interpersonal Communication:  Support a respectful and positive work environment.

Requirements:

  • Successful completion of a state approved training program in medication administration.
  • Indiana QMA license.
  • Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
