Transportation Driver (Part Time)

Job Summary:

The Transportation Driver will provide the transportation of patients to and from hospitals, medical offices, dialysis centers and private residences in a safe, secure, and professional manner.

Essential Duties:

·      Provides a high level of customer service and assistance while transporting residents to and from activities, appointments, and other outings in accordance with safety standards.

·      Is responsible for the safety of residents at all times. Monitors resident safety on the bus, while boarding and departing the vehicle as well as the entrance and exit of buildings.

·      Responsible for general upkeep of the vehicle including inspections, regularly scheduled maintenance, and all required paperwork.

Preferred Qualifications:

·      High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

·      Active Illinois Driver’s License, meeting DOT required vehicle licensure and physical.

·      Must be between the age of twenty-five (25) and seventy-four (74) per facility insurance requirements.
