This role is perfect for retirees, semi-retired professionals, veterans, school bus drivers, transportation workers, or anyone looking for rewarding daytime work with a purpose.

Schedule:

Monday โ€“ Friday

7:00AM โ€“ 9:00AM

2:30PM โ€“ 4:30PM


Pay:

$16.00 per hour


What Youโ€™ll Do:

  • Safely transport adults with developmental disabilities to and from programs and activities
  • Assist passengers with entering and exiting the vehicle when needed
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and professional vehicle environment
  • Communicate with dispatch regarding schedule or passenger changes
  • Provide a friendly, patient, and dependable experience for riders


Requirements:
  • Experience in transportation or care-related fields is preferred
  • Strong time management, reliability, and customer service skills
  • Comfortable working a split shift schedule
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist individuals with varying mobility levels
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Valid Florida Driverโ€™s License with acceptable driving record
  • At least 21 years old and able to pass a DOT physical

Compliance Requirements

  • Drug-Free Workplace
  • Level II background screening required
  • Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse participation required
