Class Summary
This is a part-time position with a maximum of 1,508 hours per year and is not eligible for paid holidays, leave, or benefits.
Job DescriptionThe Trades Tech (part-time warehouse) position will be responsible for helping maintain records of the inventory of equipment and supplies of the department's warehouse. This incumbent will be receiving the shipments, as well as verifying the accuracy of the contents of the shipments. This individual will be responsible for pulling orders from inventory and delivering them to the appropriate site.
Essential Duties
  • Delivering mail, supplies and fuel to Parks & Recreation facilities
  • Verifies warehouse orders are accurate before loading onto truck
  • Recording fuel delivery in our Computerized Asset management program
  • Using a computer and applicable software
  • Reading and responding to emails
  • Conducting quarterly and annual warehouse audits
Other Job Requirements/Information
  • This job is a safety sensitive position that will require a pre-employment drug test and subsequent random drug and alcohol testing.

Hourly rate
Salary will be $16.80 per hour.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED AND
  • One year of warehouse experience
    • An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above will also be considered.
  • Forklift Certification within 6 months
