Job Description

EZWAY DELIVERY, LLC is seeking a mechanically inclined and dependable Fleet Support Technician to help support daily fleet operations at our WMO1 location in Joplin, MO. This part-time position plays a vital role in keeping our delivery vans safe, functional, and ready to hit the road.

You'll handle routine inspections, perform light maintenance (like tire changes and bulb replacements), and manage vehicle drop-offs and pick-ups from body and mechanic shops. This is a physical, hands-on role best suited for someone who knows their way around vehicles and enjoys being out in the field.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily fleet inspections for damage, safety, and road readiness

  • Change tires, replace lights, perform minor on-site repairs

  • Transport vans to/from mechanic and body shops

  • Build and maintain vendor relationships with shops and towing providers

  • Coordinate towing and roadside service when needed

  • Keep organized maintenance logs and follow-up on repairs

  • Maintain strong communication with dispatch and leadership team

  • Safely drive company vehicles and represent the brand professionally

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license with a clean MVR (driving record)

  • Must pass a background check

  • Strong mechanical aptitude or prior experience with basic vehicle repairs

  • Physically able to lift up to 70 lbs and work outdoors in various conditions

  • Flexible availability: Morning and evening shifts (split shift)

  • Reliable, responsible, and solution-oriented

Preferred Experience

  • Fleet, shop, or mechanic experience

  • Familiarity with cargo vans (Ford Transit, Ram ProMaster, etc.)

  • Experience working with vendors and managing maintenance follow-ups
