Job description

Location: Tower-Soudan School, Tower, MN 
Hours: Year Round Employment, Monday - Friday/Day Shift
Bargaining Unit: Operating Engineers, Local No. 70
Wage: $17.26/hr
Benefits: Contingent upon the number of hours worked per week. For detailed information about benefits, please refer to the applicable contract available on our district website. 
Position Details:
Enjoy a rewarding position as a part time Custodian with our Tower-Soudan School! This position is responsible for the cleaning of the school premises which includes both interior and exterior job duties to provide a safe and sanitary environment for the students and staff. This position enjoys a positive environment and the opportunity to work independently following district protocols and procedures.
Skills & Abilities:








 
  • Ability to operate small equipment - such as lawnmowers, genie lifts, small tractors and power tools
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Time management skills
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision
  • Ability to maintain respect for student confidentiality
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1 year experience in general maintenance and/or custodial/cleaning services. Additional years of experience in this area is preferable. 
  • Must complete a pre-employment background check.
