What does a typical week look like for a part time top dog, and how flexible are the working hours?

As a part-time dog walker, your schedule is often highly flexible, allowing you to choose walks that fit around your other commitments. A typical week may involve multiple short walking shifts per day or just a few longer walks, depending on client needs and your availability. You'll be responsible for safely exercising dogs, following owners' instructions, and sometimes providing basic care like feeding or cleaning up. The job involves a lot of outdoor activity and independent work, but strong communication with pet owners and sometimes coordination with other walkers or pet care staff is key. This role is ideal for those who are self-motivated, reliable, and enjoy working with animals in a less traditional work environment.
