Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time / PRNShift: Day ShiftOverview:Vista Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for our Telemetry Unit. This role is ideal for a compassionate and detail-oriented nurse who thrives in a fast-paced environment, monitoring and caring for patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring. If you are looking for a rewarding career where you can make a real impact on patient outcomes, we encourage you to apply!Key Responsibilities:Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients in the Telemetry Unit.Monitor patients' vital signs, ECG rhythms, and respond to cardiac changes.Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapy as prescribed.Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and discharge plans.Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with hospital and regulatory guidelines.Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.Qualifications:Current RN license in the state of Illinois (or ability to obtain).Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in telemetry, cardiac, or critical care preferred.BLS and ACLS certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.Why Join Vista Medical Center?Competitive salary and shift differentials.Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).Tuition reimbursement and professional development opportunities.Supportive team environment with opportunities for growth.
