Technology Specialist Grades 4k-8
Our mission is to provide a learning environment that promotes academic excellence, spiritual growth, and moral development, preparing students to be good stewards of God's gifts. Guided by our pillars of faith, family, knowledge, and service, our faculty works together to form the whole child academically, spiritually, and socially.
We are looking for teachers who are committed to Catholic education and who are passionate about helping students grow both intellectually and personally within a faith-filled school environment. We're currently seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Technology Specialist to teach students in grades 4K-8 while managing and maintaining the school's technology systems and infrastructure. This role blends classroom instruction with hands-on technical leadership.
Responsibilities Include:
Teach technology curriculum aligned to ISTE standards (Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, Global Collaborator, Knowledge Constructor).
Provide instruction in Google Workspace, Canva, coding, keyboarding, and digital citizenship.
Serve as Google Workspace Administrator (manage users, apps, settings, device policies).
Manage and monitor internet safety protocols using Go Guardian.
Oversee asset management using Reftab (inventory, device assignment, tracking).
Maintain and update Apple, Windows, and Chromebook devices, printers, and View Boards.
Support and maintain the school network router and connectivity.
Administer and support digital assessment testing.
Provide technology support and guidance to faculty and staff.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in educational technology, IT, Computer Science, Education, or related field preferred.
Experience teaching elementary and/or middle school students.
Experience with Google Workspace administration required.
Familiarity with Go Guardian and Ref tab preferred.
Knowledge of Apple, Windows, Chromebooks, and basic networking.
Strong organizational, communication, and troubleshooting skills.
Reports to: Principal / Head of School
