Certified Surgical Technologist - First Assist - OR
We are seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist - First Assist to support our surgical team in the Operating Room (OR). This key role involves assisting surgeons during surgeries and ensuring that the operating room is well-prepared and maintains a sterile environment. Qualified candidates will be eligible for $7,500 relocation assistance.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Operating Room Environment: Ensure a safe and functional operating room by maintaining equipment and ensuring all necessary tools are prepared.
  • Surgical Assistance: Support surgeons with exposure, hemostasis, and other technical tasks that contribute to successful surgeries.
  • Sterile Field Maintenance: Assist with patient positioning, prepping, and draping while ensuring the sterile field is preserved throughout the procedure.
  • Instrument Handling: Conduct instrument, sharps, and sponge counts with the circulator to ensure accurate handling of surgical specimens.
  • Operating Room Preparation: Stock and prepare operating rooms with required supplies and equipment before each surgery.
Certified Surgical Technologist - First Assist - OR Job Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum of five years as a Certified Surgical Technologist, with preference given to candidates with experience in CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room).
  • Skills: Proficiency in endo-vein harvesting and advanced surgical techniques.
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology Program.
