Job Description

We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic faculty member to teach Pharmacy Tech Courses. This is a part-time, professional position reporting directly to the Program Director. The primary responsibility will be to teach courses relating to Pharmacy Practice, Drug Classification Systems, Pharmacology, Intravenous Admixtures and Aseptic Compounding and other courses that will train students for the Healthcare and Pharmacy Industries. The typical teaching load is 2 courses each module. Applicants will also be expected to provide academic advising to students, assist the program director and participate in department training, meetings and graduation.

Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree Required in Pharmacy (Technician minimum, higher acceptable)
  • Licensed by the Pharmacy Board of Maryland
  • At least three of experience in the field of practical in-field work experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized, motivated and results driven
  • Prior teaching experience preferred
