Description
The City of Fairfield's Income Tax Division is seeking a detail-oriented individual to provide administrative support and assistance.
Schedule will be approximately 25 hours per week, Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate will be able to work about 5 hours each day, with flexibility on the start and end time within the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm.
Examples of Duties
  • Prepare outgoing mail by folding and stuffing letters and related materials for mailing
  • Process return mail, including researching and updating new addresses in the system
  • Accurately enter incoming payments
  • Log returns and documents as received in the system and scan
  • Perform a variety of data entry and administrative support tasks as assigned

Typical Qualifications
  • Basic computer skills
  • Comfortable using MS Word and Excel for data entry
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • High School diploma or GED
