A part-time tattoo artist or studio should be aware that individuals with von Willebrand disease have a bleeding disorder, which increases the risk of excessive bleeding and complications during tattooing. Tattoo artists should follow strict hygiene and bleeding control protocols to minimize risks for clients with bleeding disorders.
