Caregiver / PCA – Tagalog Speaking Preferred

Serenity Care at Home – Brookfield, CT

Part-Time | Day Shifts Available | Immediate Opening

Serenity Care at Home is seeking a compassionate and dependable Caregiver/PCA to provide one-on-one care for a client in Brookfield, CT. The ideal candidate is patient, reliable, and able to communicate effectively with a client whose primary language is Tagalog. Tagalog language skills are preferred to support communication and comfort but are not required.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)
  • Provide companionship and emotional support
  • Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping
  • Provide medication reminders
  • Accompany clients on walks and community outings as needed
  • Observe and report changes in client condition
  • Maintain accurate documentation and follow care plans

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of caregiving, PCA, HHA, CNA, or related experience required
  • Tagalog language skills preferred
  • Must be able to communicate in English
  • Reliable transportation required
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Compassionate, dependable, and professional demeanor
  • Ability to pass background checks and employment screenings
