Job Description

St. Cloud Technical & Community College is actively seeking instructors to join its Customized Training department, offering opportunities to teach in a variety of specialized fields. This is a chance to share expertise and contribute to workforce development in the following subject areas:

  • Business, IT, and Professional Skills - Provide practical training in leadership, communication, Microsoft applications, and essential workplace skills.

  • Skilled Trades and Industry - Offer hands-on training and certification support for tradespeople advancing or updating their skills.

  • Health/EMS - Deliver essential training in CPR, first aid, and clinical skills such as phlebotomy, medication administration, and nursing aide skills observationto support healthcare workforce readiness.

  • Direct Care and Human Services - Train caregivers and support staff in essential skills for practical, compassionate support tailored for those working in residential, in-home, or community-based settings.

Salary: $35-$60/hour

Other Requirements

In accordance with the Minnesota State Colleges & Universities (Minnesota State) Vehicle Fleet Safety Program, employees driving on college/university business who use a rental or state vehicle shall be required to conform to Minnesota State's vehicle use criteria and consent to a Motor Vehicle Records check.

Employment eligibility: The college regrets that is in unable to offer H-1B sponsorship at this time. The successful candidate, under U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services regulations, must be able to accept work in the U.S. by the day employment begins.

Work Shift (Hours / Days of work): This teaching position could possibly teach a variety of modalities to include in-person on campus or completely online or a hybrid course. The SCTCC course schedule determines the days of the week and specific class times.

Telework (Yes/No): Yes, some travel throughout Minnesota may be required.
