Must have experience with: (1) managing, processing and analyzing large-scale datasets (multiple gigabytes of data); (2) using statistical analysis techniques including logistic regression, time series analysis, machine learning algorithms, and hypothesis testing; (3) utilizing data query tools including SQL, Python, Hadoop and Spark to manipulate, analyze and interpret data; (4) executing complex queries to clean and extract usable information from large data sets of numerical and textual data; (5) designing rich data visualizations to communicate complex ideas to customers or company leaders; and (6) programmatically extracting data from a database and an API and transforming the data into presentable form including either a ROC curve, map, or Tableau visualization.
