Overview:
Sentara Home Care is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join our team as a Home Health Aide.
Position Status:
Part Time, Day Shift during the weekdays only
Schedule can be flexible and is centered around patient needs.
Position Location:
Charlottesville, VA. Must have personal car and a valid Driver's License.
Mileage reimbursement is offered for all miles driven between patient visits.
Hourly Range: 15.75 - 20.45
We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits.
Overview
Home Health Aides will perform basic and routine patient care, such as personal hygiene, grooming, toileting, meal preparation, and feeding, intake/output, ambulation, and assisting patients with transfer from/to bed, toilet and other areas of the home.
Certification/Licensure
  • CNA, or nurse aide/assistant certificate from accredited school (required)
  • BLS (Required within 90 days)

Experience
  • Basic and routine patient care
  • Personal hygiene, grooming, toileting, meal preparation, and feeding
  • Intake/output
  • Ambulation
