Their duties include preparing patients for surgery, sterilizing instruments, monitoring patient vitals, and providing post-operative care, all while working fewer hours than a full-time nurse. They play a vital role in supporting surgeons and ensuring patient safety during surgical procedures. Part time roles offer flexibility, which may be ideal for individuals balancing other commitments or pursuing further education.
