About Us

Nestled in the scenic Lehigh Valley, Saucon Valley Country Club is a premier private club retreat featuring three 18-hole championship golf courses, seven dining venues, and nine banquet venues. Our diverse culinary offerings set the standard for fine and casual dining experiences in the region.


Position Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled and personable Banquet Bartender to join our team for special events and banquets. Events range from small dinner parties to large club-wide celebrations, that can take place in different locations around the property.


The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for our members and guests. At Saucon Valley Country Club, we pride ourselves in serving our members and their guests with outstanding hospitality. Our team focuses on creating extraordinary experiences and lasting memories.


Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic options, at banquets and special events.
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Interact with members and guests in a friendly and professional manner, taking drink orders and providing recommendations when needed.
  • Collaborate with the banquet staff to coordinate beverage service in accordance with the event plan.
  • Monitor and manage inventory, restocking supplies as needed and reporting any shortages.
  • Adhere to responsible beverage service guidelines, ensuring the well-being of members .
  • Maintain accurate records of sales.
Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Previous bartending experience, particularly in banquet or upscale settings.
  • Knowledge of mixology and a diverse range of beverages.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • RAMP or similar certification is a plus.
