The main difference lies in the temporary versus ongoing nature of the roles, though both require yoga certifications and strong teaching skills.

How to become a part-time substitute yoga teacher?

To become a part-time substitute yoga teacher, you typically need a certified yoga teaching credential, such as a 200-hour yoga teacher training certification, and relevant teaching experience. You should also demonstrate good communication skills, flexibility in scheduling, and familiarity with different yoga styles to be considered by studios or gyms for substitute roles.

Is it illegal to teach a part time substitute yoga teacher without a certification?

Part time substitute yoga teachers are generally not legally required to have formal certification, but many studios and employers prefer or require certification to ensure safety and proper instruction. Certification from recognized organizations can also enhance credibility and employment opportunities, though regulations vary by location.
