Your Role: This is not your average part-time position - this is your chance to work as a professional in a part-time capacity! We will provide you with comprehensive training to successfully deliver the USLI Experience - one interaction at a time. This role is part-time, subject to a maximum of 29 hours per week, year-round, and is based in Boise, Idaho.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer service: Answer and distribute incoming phone calls while providing friendly and professional assistance to our insurance agents and brokers.
  • Communication: Actively listen to our callers' needs and respond in a fast and professional manner.Occasionally send concise emails as needed to assist customers with requests.
  • Service excellence: Demonstrate a positive and friendly attitude with every interaction.
  • Learning and application: Learn and apply foundational insurance concepts through training and hands-on experience.

What You'll Bring:
  • Customer service experience: Minimum of four years of customer service experience in any industry.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred but not required.
  • Technical skills: Comfort using computers and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Communication skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with problem-solving abilities.
  • Adaptability: Ability to learn new concepts quickly and apply them to customer interactions in a supportive team environment.
  • Dependability: Consistent hours and a proactive, reliable approach to work and customer service.

Qualifications:
  • Competency: Candidates must pass a proficiency assessment to be considered for the role.
  • Location: Must be able to commute to our Boise, Idaho office with the option of 1 remote workday per week.
  • Schedule: This is a year-round part-time position (up to 29 hours per week) based in our Boise, ID office. Availability between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. MT with a fixed weekly schedule.
  • Travel requirements: Willing to travel to Wayne, Pennsylvania for the first week of on-site training (9 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET Monday through Friday; travel expenses will be covered).
  • Note: Undergraduate and graduate students cannot be considered for this role. Please refer to our Student Program page .

Salary Range:
  • Starting hourly rate of $25.75 with eligibility for year-end pay increase and bonus.
  • Full-time opportunities may be available after a minimum of 18 months for successful candidates.
