Job Overview

 We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Straight Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and adherence to all traffic regulations. As a Straight Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the integrity of our Company.
  
Responsibilities
 
  • Operate delivery vehicles, including vans and trucks, in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks, liftgates.
  • Navigate assigned routes effectively while adhering to delivery schedules.
  • Provide exceptional customer service during pickups and deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage (Samsara) and fuel usage.
  • Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Communicate with dispatch regarding any delays or issues encountered on the road.
  • Follow all safety protocols and regulations while driving.
  • Must be able to cross the Canadian border
Qualifications
 
  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
  • Must possess a valid enhance driver license to cross the border and enter into Canada.
Experience
 
  • Proven experience as a Truck Driver or in a similar role within courier or delivery services is preferred.
  • Experience in route driving and commercial driving is essential.
  • Previous experience in customer service is highly valued.
  • Ability to operate loading equipment such as pallet jacks, liftgate is a plus.
  • Knowledge of moving procedures and logistics operations will be beneficial.
