PART TIME 4:00PM - 12:30AM MUST BE AVAILABLE WEEKENDS
$15.00 - $18.82 PER HOUR
GENERAL PURPOSE:
The purpose of this position is to ensure the quality, freshness, and product assortment is maintained throughout the store, specifically in the grocery department. This person will be receiving, stocking, and rotating product, facing product, taking special orders, and providing exceptional customer service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Follows established departmental and store policies and procedures
  • Ensures the quality and freshness of all products and services provided by the grocery department
  • Responsible for maintaining the appropriate product assortment and inventory levels for the grocery department
  • Confirms pricing accuracy and signage for all products, paying particular attention to ad items
  • Ensures the store is cleaned daily and meets the company standards for appearance
  • Delivers excellent customer service to all customers
  • Receives, stores, and stocks a wide variety of products for the grocery department
  • Pulls out of date product from the shelves
  • Builds end-cap and other special product displays
  • Assists Grocery Manager with ordering product to meet the needs of the store based on past and projected sales
  • Completes assigned tasks efficiently and in a timely manner
  • Sets a professional and positive example to others
  • Assists as needed to ensure the success of the store as a whole
