Job description

GROCERY STOCKER

Rosewood Market + Deli | Columbia, SC | Full-Time & Part-Time

$15.00 / hour to start


At Rosewood Market, our Grocery Stockers are essential to everything we do. If our customers find what they're looking for every time they walk in, it's because of you.


WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Stock, rotate, and face shelves and displays throughout the store to maintain a full, clean, and organized floor

Receive and check in product deliveries, verifying accuracy and quality

Break down cardboard and maintain a clean back stock area

Pull product from the back room and ensure shelves are replenished before and during store hours

Assist with price changes, shelf tags, and signage updates as directed

Monitor for damaged, expired, or out-of-place product and address it promptly

Support other departments as needed during slower periods

Communicate through company-designated platforms including Homebase and email

Treat every customer and co-worker with courtesy and respect


WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

A strong work ethic and the ability to stay on task independently

Detail-oriented - you notice when something is off and fix it without being asked

Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stay on your feet for a full shift

Comfortable with morning opening shifts as well as closing shifts (we close at 8pm Monday-Saturday, 6pm Sunday)

Weekend availability

Dependable and punctual, the store depends on you being there

Prior stocking, warehouse, or retail experience preferred, but we'll train the right person

A positive attitude and willingness to pitch in wherever needed
