We are seeking a reliable and knowledgeable Registered Dental Hygienist to join Mesquite Dental on a part-time or full-time basis. In this role, you will play a critical part in helping patients maintain excellent oral health through screenings, cleanings, education, and preventive care. Properly sterilize dental instruments and maintain a clean work environment
Conduct initial oral screenings and review patients’ oral health histories
Identify dental conditions such as gingivitis, caries, and periodontitis
Perform dental cleanings including plaque removal and fluoride application
Educate patients of all ages on effective oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
Provide post-treatment instructions following dental procedures
Take dental X-rays and impressions as necessary
Assist dentists in selecting appropriate treatment plans for oral diseases, including oral cancer
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient documentation and charts

Requirements
  • Licensed dental hygienist

Valid license to practice as a Registered Dental Hygienist in Nevada
