Join Our People & Culture Team

At Reitmans (Canada) Limited (RCL), our People & Culture team is focused on creating exceptional employee experiences through innovative programs, technology, and data-driven decision-making. We're looking for a Senior Advisor, HR Systems & People Analytics to help shape the future of our HR technology and analytics capabilities.

In this role, you'll combine your expertise in HR systems, process improvement, and people analytics to optimize our HR platforms, strengthen data quality, and deliver insights that support better business decisions. You'll work closely with stakeholders across People & Culture, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, and the broader business to improve how HR data, systems, and processes work together.

What You'll Do

  • Lead initiatives to optimize, centralize, and standardize HR systems, processes, data, and reporting across the organization.
  • Partner with stakeholders to identify business needs, improve the employee and user experience, and increase adoption of HR technologies.
  • Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytics that provide insights into workforce planning, recruitment, learning, retention, organizational effectiveness, and other key people metrics.
  • Analyze workforce and HR data to identify trends, opportunities, and recommendations that support strategic decision-making.
  • Support HR data governance by improving data quality, consistency, documentation, and reporting standards across multiple HR platforms.
  • Translate business requirements into practical system enhancements, process improvements, and clear documentation.
  • Support system implementations, upgrades, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives across HR technologies.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to People & Culture leaders by providing meaningful insights and recommendations based on workforce data.
Qualifications

What You'll Bring

  • 5 +years of experience in HR systems, HRIS, people analytics, HR operations, workforce analytics, or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of HR systems and the employee lifecycle, including HRIS, applicant tracking systems, onboarding, learning management systems, performance management, compensation, and engagement platforms.
  • Experience supporting HR technology optimization, process improvement, system implementations, testing, documentation, and user adoption.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Power BI; experience with SQL, HR reporting tools, data integration, or workflow automation is considered an asset.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Information Systems, Analytics, Statistics, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Bilingual in English and French, both written and spoken, with the ability to collaborate effectively with teams and business partners across Canada.
