What is a part time staging job?

A part time staging job involves preparing homes or properties for sale or events by arranging furniture, decor, and accessories to make spaces look appealing to potential buyers or guests. Staging professionals work with real estate agents, homeowners, or event coordinators to enhance the visual appeal of a space. Part time staging allows flexibility in hours and may include tasks such as decluttering, setting up rooms, and sometimes moving or sourcing decorative items. This role requires an eye for design, attention to detail, and good organizational skills.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a part time staging professional, and why are they important?

Familiarity with design software, inventory management systems, and basic hand tools is typically required. Strong organizational skills, creativity, and effective communication set candidates apart in this role. These abilities ensure that properties are presented attractively and efficiently, helping to maximize appeal and market value.

What are some common challenges faced by part time staging professionals, and how can they be managed?

Job description

Description
You already know how to sell a house. The question is whether you are selling the right ones.
We are hiring Luxury Real Estate Agents. This role is for the licensed agent who wants to move upmarket and work the higher price points in their area, where one closing can be worth several of the deals you are running now.
You will represent buyers and sellers in premium residential transactions, from the first private showing to the closing table. The work is more presentation-driven, more relationship-driven, and less transactional than standard residential production.
What you will be doing
  • Representing buyers and sellers in higher-price-point residential transactions
  • Delivering listing presentations and market positioning strategy for premium properties
  • Coordinating professional photography, staging direction, and marketing for each listing
  • Conducting private showings and managing client relationships with discretion
  • Advising clients on market conditions, timing, and pricing strategy
  • Negotiating contracts and managing transactions through to closing
  • Developing your own referral network and sphere of influence

What we are looking for
  • Active real estate license, in good standing (required)
  • A documented track record of closed residential transactions
  • Experience at higher price points, or a serious plan to move into that market
  • Polished presentation skills and professional client communication
  • Discretion and the judgment to handle private client information
  • The ability to run your own career without daily supervision
  • Reliable transportation and availability for evening and weekend showings

Schedule
Full-time and part-time available. You set your own hours. Clients at this level often want evenings and weekends, so flexibility matters.
How to apply
Apply through this posting. It takes about a minute, and we review every application.
Responsibilities
โ€ข Represent buyers and sellers in high-value residential transactions, ensuring a seamless experience from initial contact to closing.
โ€ข Deliver compelling listing presentations and develop strategic market positioning for luxury properties.
โ€ข Coordinate professional photography, staging, and marketing efforts to showcase each listing's unique features.
โ€ข Conduct private showings with discretion, maintaining strong client relationships throughout the process.
โ€ข Advise clients on current market conditions, optimal timing, and effective pricing strategies to maximize their investment.
โ€ข Negotiate contracts with precision, managing all aspects of the transaction to ensure a successful closing.
โ€ข Cultivate and expand your referral network, leveraging your sphere of influence to generate new business opportunities.
Qualifications
โ€ข Active real estate license in good standing, ensuring you're ready to hit the ground running.
โ€ข Proven track record of closed residential transactions, demonstrating your ability to deliver results.
โ€ข Experience in high-value property transactions, or a clear plan to transition into this market.
โ€ข Polished presentation skills, allowing you to confidently showcase luxury properties.
โ€ข Ability to communicate professionally with clients, maintaining strong relationships.
โ€ข Discretion and sound judgment in handling private client information, building trust and confidence.
โ€ข Capability to manage your own career independently, without daily supervision, ensuring success in a flexible work environment.
