Job description

Pay Range:

$35.92 - $53.88

A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.

HSHS is seeking a Cardiac "Echo" Sonographer to join our cardiac imaging team.
Ideal candidates are patient focused, mission driven professionals looking for an opportunity to apply clinical knowledge to support excellent patient care.
Position Specifics:
Department: Cardiac Sonography
Core Function: Imaging
Schedule: Part time, 20 hrs/wk, 2 days weekly 630am-5pm (10hr shifts) -on call one weekend a month Saturday and Sunday 8am-12pm, no on call during the week, holiday rotation
Facility: St. Anthony's Hospital in Effingham

Education Qualifications

  • Graduate of, or currently enrolled in, an allied health program is required.
  • Associates degree in allied health, applied science or completion of certificate program is preferred.

Experience Qualifications

  • Experience in sonography/ultrasound is preferred.

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

  • Certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) from the American Registry of Diagnostic Sonographers (ARDMS) OR a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) is required.
  • OR must be eligible to sit for the RDCS or RCS exam AND must obtain registry within 6 months of hire.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
