Job description
The Indiana University Foundation (IUF) is committed to advancing Indiana University by inspiring generosity, strengthening relationships, and supporting opportunities that create lasting impact for students, faculty, alumni, donors, and communities. As part of the IU advancement community, IUF helps connect people to the programs, initiatives, and ideas that move Indiana University forward.
This position is on-site and is based in our Bloomington, Indiana office. We expect 20-25 hours per week on a consistent schedule, Monday- Friday, with morning shifts preferred. The pay rate for this role is $18.00 per hour. We anticipate the position being available through the next twelve months, and we are looking for someone who can commit to the full term, with the possibility of extension based on business need.
The IU Foundation's Crimson Data Quality Team is seeking a detail-oriented individual to complete data reconciliation on donor and alumni records, ensuring data integrity and quality.
On this team, you will address and resolve issues with data accuracy by proactively identifying and resolving problems with existing data; attentively adding submitted content to the database while adhering to established policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have strong business fundamentals, experience in data entry and data clean-up, a working understanding of or experience with SQL, be proficient in Microsoft Excel skills, and will also have experience with mail merge.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Analytical skills and interpretive reasoning
- Written and verbal communication skills, specifically with procedure and application guidelines
- Judgment to exercise discretion related to donor records
- Database knowledge, software knowledge
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma required
- CRM experience strongly preferred
