Must-Have / Important Skill Set

  • Data Architecture & Enterprise Architecture – Strong experience in data architecture, architecture assessment/risk assessment, data architecture standards, principles, and transition planning.
  • Data Warehousing & Data Marts – Hands-on experience with Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW), data marts, data warehouse architecture, and data integration.
  • Data Modeling & Dimensional Modeling – Strong experience with data modeling, Fact & Dimension design, dimensional models, data structures, business rules, and mapping specifications.
  • ETL & Data Integration – Strong hands-on experience developing and testing ETL processes, preferably with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
  • Data Profiling & Data Quality – Experience with detailed data profiling, data validation, data quality, data analysis, and source-to-target data mapping.
  • SQL / Database Technologies – Strong SQL and SQL Server experience, with knowledge of database design/administration and reporting technologies such as SSRS.
  • Data Modeling Tools & Public Sector Experience – Experience with tools such as PowerDesigner, ERWin, Oracle Designer, SQL Developer Data Modeler, or Visio, along with public-sector/government experience and understanding of privacy/information-management requirements.


Strong Advantage: Experience with JOIN/JIMS, court/justice data, judicial processes, Public Sector, or related government justice-sector environments.
