About the Role:

The IT Specialist (Part Time) plays a critical role in maintaining and enhancing the technological infrastructure of the organization. This position is responsible for providing timely technical support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems. The role involves collaborating with various departments to understand their technology needs and implementing effective solutions that improve productivity and security. The IT Specialist will also assist in system upgrades, network maintenance, and user training to optimize technology use across the organization. Ultimately, this position ensures that all IT resources are reliable, secure, and aligned with the company’s operational goals while working within a part-time schedule.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in IT support or a similar technical role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
  • Familiarity with common networking concepts and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical information clearly.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP).
