Youth Soccer Coach / Youth Sports & Wellness Coach (Part-Time)

About Us

Shape Your Destiny is a youth health and wellness company dedicated to helping children build confidence, develop healthy habits, and discover their potential through sports, fitness, leadership, and social-emotional learning. We partner with local school districts to provide engaging before-school, after-school, and enrichment programs that make a lasting impact on students.

We are currently seeking energetic, dependable, and positive Youth Soccer Coaches to join our growing team.

Position Summary

This is much more than a soccer coaching position. Our coaches serve as mentors and positive role models while teaching elementary-aged students the fundamentals of soccer, teamwork, confidence, leadership, sportsmanship, and healthy living.

Responsibilities

• Lead fun and engaging soccer classes for elementary-aged students.
• Teach soccer fundamentals in a positive and encouraging environment.
• Promote teamwork, respect, leadership, and good sportsmanship.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and energetic learning atmosphere.
• Arrive on time and prepared for every class.
• Communicate professionally with school staff and fellow instructors.
• Represent Shape Your Destiny with professionalism and enthusiasm.

Qualifications

Preferred:

• Soccer playing or coaching experience.
• Experience working with children in schools, camps, recreation, coaching, or childcare.

Required:

• Positive attitude and strong communication skills.
• Reliable transportation.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to lead groups of children with enthusiasm and confidence.
• Ability to pass a Live Scan background check before working in schools.

Schedule

• Part-time
• Primarily weekday afternoons (additional morning opportunities may be available)
• Flexible scheduling based on school assignments
