Part-Time Phlebotomist | Clinical & Front Office

Location: San Francisco, CA 94105.
Pay Range: $35$40 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.
Employment Type: W-2 | Choose either part-time or PRN based on your scheduling preference.
Hours: Weekdays, 8 AM4:30 PM.
Schedule: Select a consistent part-time schedule of 12 weekdays per week or flexible PRN coverage based on your availability. Additional shifts may be offered as clinic needs arise.

This position combines hands-on specimen collection with patient check-in, scheduling, documentation, referrals, and general administrative support. What You Will Do
  • Greet patients and provide a welcoming, professional check-in experience.
  • Confirm appointments and collect required patient information.
  • Perform venipuncture confidently and independently.
  • Collect, label, process, and prepare specimens for transport.
  • Complete urine collection and point-of-care testing as assigned.
  • Obtain vital signs and assist with basic patient intake.
  • Schedule follow-up appointments and referrals.
  • Reinforce care instructions provided by the clinical team.
  • Contact insurance carriers when coverage verification is required.
  • Upload laboratory results and supporting records into the EMR.
  • Answer clinic phone calls and route messages appropriately.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and protect confidential information.
  • Monitor supplies and keep patient-care and front-office areas organized.
  • Support daily clinic workflows as patient and scheduling needs arise.
Required Qualifications
  • Active California Certified Phlebotomy Technician certification.
  • Current and regular hands-on venipuncture experience.

  • Previous experience supporting a medical front desk or clinical office.
  • Active BLS or ACLS certification (CPR Certification).
  • Experience with patient check-in, appointment scheduling, or referral coordination.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records and medical terminology.

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with the clinical team.
