Holy Redeemer Catholic School in Kensington Maryland is hiring a part-time Spanish Teacher for grades 1 and 2.
This role will report to the Principal and the compensation is $30.00 per hour.

Position Overview
Holy Redeemer Catholic School is seeking a faith-filled, enthusiastic, and dedicated Part-Time Spanish Teacher to join our school community. The successful candidate will provide engaging Spanish instruction to students in Grades 1 and 2 while supporting the school's mission of academic excellence, faith, and service. The ideal candidate will inspire a love of language and culture in a nurturing, Christ-centered learning environment.
Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate Spanish lessons aligned with the school's curriculum.
• Foster the development of listening, speaking, reading, and introductory writing skills in Spanish.
• Create a welcoming, respectful, and positive classroom environment that reflects Catholic values.
• Assess student learning and communicate progress to parents and school administration.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, faculty, and administrators to support student success.
• Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events as appropriate.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Education, Spanish, or a related field
• Fluency in Spanish and English.
• Experience teaching elementary-aged children preferred
• Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.
• Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education.
• Practicing Catholic preferred, and or a willingness to support and uphold the teachings and mission of the Catholic Church.
